Magic Dogwood, also known as Cornus florida subspecies urbiniana, is a rare Mexican version of dogwood. Much like snowflakes and finger prints, every flower is completely unique. This plant is a spring bloomer.

Magic Dogwood Living Conditions

This species originates from the Mexican mountains where the conditions mirror our spring, year round. That being said, when growing zone 6 in the US, this species can withstand colder weather. It also does’t mind living through hot summers, making this plant (if you can find it) a suitable option for green thumbs in the USA and Canada.
